7 DAYS: CULTURAL TOUR & SIGHTSEEING
Day 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK. Pick up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge for lunch, game drives in the park. After lunch stay at leisure then enter the park for yet another game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge. (Full board)
Day 2: TARANGIRE TO NATRON. Today you will drive to Lake Natron; this lake is the only breeding ground in East Africa for millions of Lesser Flamingos, the lake is a safe breeding location because its caustic environment is barrier against predators trying to reach their nests. Natron is immense Oldonyo Lengai volcano which though still active, makes a challenging climbing experience for those fit enough to climb. In the near by there is a beautiful gorge walk to the Engaresero water falls for a cooling swim, which when combing with a visit to the lake and an opportunity to experience Masai culture in the local villages, all make this place enchanting place to visit. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Halisi Camp. (Full board)
Day 3: LAKE NATRON. Spending the whole day at Natron, exploring the beauty of this land. Later at midnight climb the Oldonyo Lengai Mountain. Walk until early in the morning where you will descend and proceed to your camp.
Day 4: NATRON. Take shower, breakfast, leisure, after lunch you will drive through mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight at Country Lodge. (Full board)
Day 5,6,7: LAKE EYASI VISIT. After a healthy breakfast you will drive to Eyasi where there are different activities which includes hunting with bushmen near Lake Eyasi and visit Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village: This is a traditional Maasai Village 40km away from Arusha and not a touristic show at all. In fact, many visitors to Tanzania consider this visit to be the greatest highlight of their trip. During the tour, you will be guided by a Maasai Chief, who will show you the village, how the Maasai live, their habits, how they cook, how they take care of livestock, what and how they study, dance, etc. Opportunity to watch the village women perform a local traditional dance. The whole experience provides fantastic photo opportunities, evening drive to Arusha town and overnight at hotel of your choice. END OF SERVICES.
