Day 1 and 2 and 3. Connect to your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. You transfer to your hotel, situated close to the Falls. High on the must see list of a first time traveller to Africa is a visit to Victoria Falls. A World Heritage site and one of the world’s Seven Wonders the sight and sound of this extraordinary spectacle never fails to inspire. Often referred to as the adventure capital of Africa, Victoria Falls offers a multitude of activities over, above, below and in front of the Falls thus catering for the adrenalin junkie as well as the more relaxed holidaymaker. These range from bungee jumping or micro light flights over the Falls to more sedate lunch and dinner cruises on the mighty Zambezi The Falls are best viewed from the Zimbabwe side as they are face on, so depending on the month of travel, visitors get to see the sheet of water as it thunders over the rock face

Days 4 and 5. Today you transfer by road in Hwange National Park. You will stay at Hwange for 2 nights in a safari lodge on a fully inclusive basis, which includes: all meals. Hwange is the largest game Reserve in Zimbabwe, hosting over 100 mammal and 400 bird species. All Zimbabwe’s specially protected animals are to be found in Hwange and it is the only protected area where gemsbok and brown hyena occur in reasonable numbers. The population of African wild dogs to be found in Hwange is thought to be of one of the larger surviving groups in Africa today. Other major predators include lion, whose distribution and hunting in Hwange is strongly related to the pans and waterholes, leopard, spotted hyena and cheetah. Elephants have also been enormously successful in Hwange .

Days 6 ,7 and 8 . Transfer today by road and light aircraft to Lake Kariba, where you stay for 3 nights on a full inclusive basis including all meals and two activities per day. Lake Kariba is one of the largest man-made lakes in Africa, created in the 1950’s by the development of Kariba Dam, to generate electricity for the population in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Lake Kariba is a genuine African wilderness with far more animals than people. This allows for glorious game viewing by boat as well as the traditional open 4 x 4 vehicles and walking in the wilds with an armed professional guide. There is also the option of tracking rhino in Matusadona National Park. Among the species that may be seen at Bumi are many elephants and buffalo, massive Nile crocodiles, lions, many hippo, the elusive leopard, kudu, water buck, impala, warthog, monkeys, baboons, sable, zebra.
