5 Days, 4 nights Maasai Mara Camping Safari
In her seminal work, Out of Africa, Karen Blixen remarked, “You know you are truly alive when you’re living among lions.”
Indeed the Greater Mara Ecosystem is home to one of the world’s highest densities of lions as well as playing host to the greatest show on Earth – the annual wildebeest migration. Situated south-west of Kenya, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destination, offeringthe possibility of seeing “the Big Five” and many other species of wildlife.
Day 1. Nairobi
Day 2. Nairobi –MaasaiMara
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley (Mai Mahiu route) through Narok to Maasai Mara arriving at the camp in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay in tented camp.
Day 3. Maasai Mara
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the park in search of the big 5. Picnic lunch will be packed and carried for you
Return to the camp late afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing.
Later in the evening, have dinner while you relive the day’s experiences by the campfire.

Day 4.Maasai Mara – Naivasha
Early Morning game drive (optional)
Breakfast then Check out and proceed to Naivasha. Check into Elsamere lodge and have lunch.
Located on the shores of Lake Naivasha, this retirement home for the Adamsons, remains a unique destination in Naivasha.
After lunch, take a boat ride on the lake and see the gigantic hippos of Naivasha.
Get back just in time for the famous High Tea…what Elsamere is best known for.
At Elsamere history connects with the future as conservation is the main objective. After tea, visit the adjacent museum and education centre to learn about Wildlife Conservation & Sustainability.
Dinner and thereafter snuggle up and watch the documentary Born Free…the Joy Adamson Story!
Day 5. Nairobi
Breakfast and check out.
Drive to Nairobi using the main Nbi-Nku route with stop overs along the way to view the magnificent Rift Valley.
Arrive Nairobi late morning and transfer to airport for flight back home.
