23 Days Uganda Rwanda Expendition
Day 1. Arrive in Kigali Kanombe airport. Depending on your flight Visit the Genocide Memorial and tour the city of Kigali known for striking beauty that many people think surpass a small African city by its development. Places to see include but not limited to the presidential palace, the famous hotel Rwanda, Craft village, the genocide Memorial and the commercial avenue to experience Kigali.
Overnight in Kigali
Day 2. After break we shall transfer to Lake Kivu while enjoying the scenic views of the land of thousand hills with enroute visit to the Ros Carr Imbabazi orphanage that has successfully transformed the live of the Genocide victims through education and other social support to the communities. Overnight will be at Serena Lake Kivu.
Day 3. Early Breakfast then transfer to take a day hike to the Nyiragongo “a stratovolcano in the Virunga Mountains associated with the Albertine rift”. A great experience of the Virunga Mountains, which give you the opportunity to appreciate active volcanic larva rarely seen in any other part of the world. Return for overnight in Kigali.
Day 4. After Breakfast take a two hours boat cruise on Lake Kivu while enjoying the sceneries and birds. Return for lunch and there after transfer to Park Nationale de Volcans.
Day 5. Today we shall track the Golden Monkey and take a sun down cultural tour in order to appreciate the people of Rwanda and their Rich History before proceeding to Bwindi for gorilla tracking.
Day 6. After breakfast we shall transfer to Bwindi with a lunch stop at Lake Bunyonyi after a stunning tour with many photo stop along the way. Evening arrival and overnight in lodges depending on availability of Gorilla permit issued location.

Day 7. Gorilla tracking whole day, depending on how long you take find the Gorilla, optional activities will include visit to the community and sharing their experience of life . overnight depending on availability of lodge where your Gorilla permit is issued.
Day 8. Today we shall transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park via Ishasha sector for afternoon Game drive on the southern circuit famous for tree climbing lion. Overnight lodge in Queen Elizabeth.
Day 9. After breakfast take a morning game drive in Ishasha northern circuit famous for its vast plains which offer a great chance to see large heard of buffalos, Elephants, Topis and Uganda kobs occasionally you may also see the climbing lions and leopard on this trail. Picnic lunch and continue for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel at 15 hrs. . Overnight lodge in Queen Elizabeth.
Day 10. Morning Game drive in the Kasenyi area well known for its sceneries and wildlife and later return to your lodge for late breakfast and relax at the pool. 1600hrs. Sun downer drive to the crater explosion for scenic drive and Overnight lodge in Queen Elizabeth.
Day 11.Easy wake up for breakfast and transfer to Fort portal for afternoon walk to the Nyakasura caves before proceeding.
Day 12. Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest and an afternoon swamp walk at Bigodi which is popular for great views of primates.
Day 13. Morning visit the tea factory and thereafter proceed to Hoima with opportunity to interact with local people enroute who can explain to you the age old traditional method of making banana gin. We shall have a night stop at Hoima Kontiki hotel.
Day 14. After breakfast we shall transfer to Murchison falls through the Bugungu game reserve with wonderful of Lake Albert and the rift valley escarpment. Picnic lunch at the Top of Murchison fall and thereafter proceed to lodges.
Day 15. Take a morning game drive to the Nile delta and an afternoon 3hrs boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.
Day 16. A whole day game drive in the northern part of Murchison fall featuring the Buligi circuit Pandero woodland and Punuri popular for thousands of Uganda Kobs, hartebeest, giraffes .
Day 17. After breakfast we shall transfer Soroti while enjoying the plains of northern Uganda and interacting with the local people enroute, learn about the Acholi and langi culture .
Day 18. Early morning depart for the remote Kidepo valley while meeting the Karimojong who have preserved their ancient way of life and culture to date. Just living like the popular Masai, the Karimojong has not opened up to let the world know about their culture and still live like the pre-colonial Africans
Day 19. Wake up to an amazing unique Game drive free from the crowd and probably exclusive in most cases yet offering a wide range of Bio diversity. In the afternoon you can have a Sun down game drive before returning for overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge on FB.
Day 20. Morning transfer to Mount Elgon Sipi falls .
Day 21. Morning walk to the Sipi falls and coffee tour, then after lunch transfer to Jinja .
Day 22. Morning White Water rafting on the Nile and later visit the source of the Nile before transferring to Kampala.
Day 23. Easy morning then take a city tour before proceeding to the airport for your evening flight back home.
