An educational center that was established in order to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffethat is found only in the grasslands of East Africa.

The main attraction for visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The centre is also home to several warthogs which freely roam the area along with the giraffes.

David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage

The orphanage hosts orphaned Rhinos & baby elephants and one can feed them and pose for photos with them everday from 11 am till noon.

Karen Blixen Museum

Originally the home of Karen Blixen, famous for the book Out of Africa, visitors have the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the house, which features rooms designed in both the original decor and with props from the 1985 film.The grounds feature original equipment from the coffee farm and are also available for touring.

Nairobi National Musuem

Built in 1929, this is the flagship museum for the National Museums of Kenya, housing celebrated collections of Kenya’s History, Nature, Culture&Contemporary Art.The Museum aims to interpret Kenya’s rich heritage and offers a one stop for visitors to sample the country’s rich heritage.

Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, relax by the poolside or take a nature walk by the UasoNyiro River.

Several large game species unique to Kenya’s northern plains can be found here, including the gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, oryx and reticulated giraffe.

Return to the lodge for breakfast. Leisure morning.

After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive.

Return in time for dinner. Overnight at lodge.

Drive south and into the forests of the Aberdare ranges arriving at Mountain Lodge for lunch. This is a tree lodge set in forest glade with a water hole. The water hole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform.

Head for Nyahururu, a town situated at 7,750 ft above sea level, with a stopover at the Thompsons Falls…a scenic waterfall with a fall of 243 ft.

Thereafter continue to Lake Nakuru National Park and check into lodge for lunch.

Dubbed the Bird Watcher’s Paradise due to the millions of fuchsia pick flamingo that flock to feed on the teeming algae of its alkaline waters, Lake Nakuru is an ornithologist’s paradise with 450 species of birds.

It is a sanctuary for the Black & White Rhino and hosts one of the largest Black Rhino concentrations in the country.

Afternoon game drive till sunset when you return to the lodge for dinner & overnight stay.

Arrive early afternoon. Check into lodge and lunch thereafter.

Full day game drive. Lunch will be packed and you can have a picnic lunch.

Return to lodge late afternoon. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Drive back to Nairobi, with stopovers at the various view points along the Rift Valley floor to take in the views and pictures for your memory as you head up the Rift Valley escarpment.

Arrive early afternoon and drop off at city hotel.

Dinner later at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Amboseli National Park lies on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro which can be seen clearly on a good day. With a large concentration of wildlife, it is a popular tourist destination, famed for its elephants, and a Photographer’s paradise.

Arrive in time for lunch.
